I call mine Poverty Eclectic. This is the style you develop over years of not having enough money to buy what you REALLY like, AKA "Champagne taste on a tap-water budget." IKEA, hand-me-downs, thrift stores, and dollar stores figure heavily in this style. Mattress on the floor, 10-year-old shower curtain, table from friends who moved over-seas. Sigh.

Haha! LOVE this!! Mine is similar!! I would maybe add the word Artsy.. Poverty Artsy Eclectic! Yes I stole your idea! I have canvases that I paint over when I'm tired of them! Lots of hand me downs! My sister gets rid of a lot of perfectly good things!! I pick through her garbage regularly! I try to DIY pallets & other pieces of ugly furniture making them better.. not great but better! LOL.. and I have tons of color... very bright color.. artsy... my sister tells me I should go for a more neutral p...

Lol my style is Hollywood Regency, expensive, but it's not so bad when you only have 450 sqft in total to decorate.

Me too! Lol. I have loads of greys, white, Black , silver and Art Deco mirrored furniture and abstract walled pieces. I also have a theme with Thai Buddha items such as head and full body Buddha sculptures throughout my home. None of the silver items are shiny silver, they always have an appearan...

I'd love to see a video on mixing styles. For instance, my bedroom is farmhouse/bohemian and I want to do my living room in mid-century modern. It's that too weird?
