牛坑腩1斤（600克）- 600g of beef brisket 蘿蔔半條 - half a white turnip 八角3塊 - 3 pieces of star anise 月桂葉10片 - 10 bay leaves 薑2片 - 2 slices of ginger 清水2公升 - 2 litres of water 牛肉精2湯匙 - 2 tbsp of condensed beef stock 鹽少許 - salt to taste 芫荽少量 - chopped coriander 蒜2個 - 2 cloves of garlic 蔥少量 - chopped spring onions
